- LASER EPILATION
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE LASER EPILATION
SUNBATHING – UV rays of the sun and solarium activates and stimulates the pigment cells in the skin. For this reason, it is obligatory not to sunbathe or apply solarium to obtain a fine result.
*15 minutes before sunbathing, use a sun block of wide spectrum (UVA/UVB) at least SPF30 factors.
*If you are to be exposed to the sun for a long time, repeat the application once every two hours.
*Repeat the application after swimming and sweating.
*Your clothes should be tightly woven and not let the sun light penetrate.Hair on skin should not be removed: Hair on skin should not be torn off or removed by any methods recently, and at least three weeks should pass after needle-epilation. Can be shaved by a razor-blade or be cut by scissors. Should stop using depilators or colour-pale substances a week before the treatment.
Skin Treatment: Substances containing Retinoic Acid and Glicolic Acid (AHA) should not be used a week before and after the treatment. No-sun tanning creams might diminish the effectiveness of the treatment and cause complications. The whole skin should be cleaned and the make-up should also be cleaned.
AFTER THE TREATMENT:*During the first week after the treatment the treated part should be protected from sun light by at least 30 factor (SPF) sunblock.
*Wash the treated part gently, with a colourless substance with no parfum and which will not peel the skin. Dry softly, and do not rub.
*Apply your daily moisturiser which does not peel the skin.
*After treatments of the face, avoid applying retinoic-acid, glicolic-acid, skin contracters and other substances containing acid.
*If the treated part forms scab,do not shave for 2-3 days.
*If make-up is applied, clean it gently.

*Hair will diminish in number upto 20-40 % after every session, depending upon the patient and the part that is treated.
*Sessions will be applied once every 3-4 weeks to the face, and once every 5-6 weeks to other parts of the body.
*Hair on the treated part will itself fall off. The complete falling off takes 1-3 weeks depending upon the depth of hair. You can shave or remove them by tweezers.
*Most patients might suffer the skin’s slightly turning red for a few hours or for a day.
*Some patients might get swelling around the hair root lasting for 24-48 hours. Cold compress or creams with hydrocortisone can be applied.
*One or two days after the treatment, for some patients, hair roots might get inflamed and white pimples might emerge. Keep the treated part clean and apply some cream with antibiotic.
* If scab is formed, keep the treated part clean and moisted. Do not scratch, remove the scab or rub it. Otherwise, spots might emerge and rough skin will be constructed. Epitelisan creams can be used.
